Come on our Root Cellar Tour!

Are you thinking about building a root cellar? Looking for tips on winter food storage? Join the Ecology Action Centre for a root cellar tour on Sunday, November 21. We’ll visit three root cellars and at each root cellar stop (Lower Burlington, New Minas and Bedford) our hosts will share their experiences and tips. We will be traveling by car and we encourage carpooling.

Date: Sunday, November 21
Time: Depart EAC (2705 Fern Lane) at 10:15, Return to Halifax approximately 5:30 pm
Cost: $25 (including lunch)

Please note: We encourage those carpooling to contribute gas money to the driver. This will be sorted out on a car by car basis.
